This instructional program class comprises any residency training program that prepares veterinarians to understand and treat the behavioural problems of animals, primarily through the application of behaviour modification techniques to companion animals; may also involve diagnosis of medical conditions that can affect a pet's behaviour, and the use of medication in conjunction with behaviour modification therapy.
