Scholarships

To be awarded on admission to Full time undergraduate students who self-identify as a Black or Indigenous Student. Candidates will be assessed based on a holistic evaluation of their academic history, leadership experiences, and demonstrated contributions to the Black or Indigenous community. Financial need may be considered. Recipient must be Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident of Canada, or a Protected Person.

To be awarded to a student and/or students on the basis of financial need.

Awarded as admission scholarships to incoming Erindale College students (UTM) on the basis of academic merit. The Awards Office at UTM will select the recipients.

To be given to a student entering fourth year in a major or specialist program in Physics, with the highest combined grade point average in 8 required FCE (full credit equivalents) in either the major program in Astrophysics and Physics or in the specialist program in Physics and its Applications, provided that the average is at least 3.3 (B+).

Awarded to a Full time student entering the Fourth Year of a Specialist Program in Biological Sciences on the basis of excellent academic achievement. Emphasis will be placed on achievement in the third year of study.

The University of Toronto Crown Ward grant helps eligible students with their tuition costs. Eligibility: FT students registred in a direct-entry programs, receiving OSAP and self-identified as Crown ward or in receipt of the Extended Care and Maintenance Allowance . These students will receive 50% of their tuition costs, to a maximum of $3,000, per academic year. OSAP recipients are automatically considered.

Requirements: Financial need must be considered, academic merit will also be considered. One scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in a Commerce Specialist; one scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in the M.B.A. program.

Awarded to students from Columbia International students College on the basis of academic excellence on admission to the University of Toronto. One award will be given to a student on entrance to the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, one on entrance to the University of Toronto at Mississauga, one on entrance to the University of Toronto at Scarborough, one on entrance to Rotman Commerce and a fifth award to a student entering the Faculty of Arts and Science or the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education or the Faculty of Music or the Faculty of Architecture Landscape & Design. Awarded to students from Columbia International students College on the basis of academic excellence on admission to the University of Toronto. This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). University of Toronto financial aid programs (UTAPS) fill the financial gap for Full time students who receive the maximum amount of government financial aid available, but whose funding doesn?t cover all university costs.

To be awarded to an outstanding student demonstrating high academic distinction and significant financial need. The award is renewable based on satisfactory progress
