The award shall be tenable during the final year of study for any first undergraduate degree. The recipient will be selected on the basis of participation in, and contribution to, student governance and student activities at the University of Toronto, and academic achievement. The recipient will be expected to have maintained a cumulative average of B (GPA 3.0). Although the Awards Committee may also take into consideration the financial circumstances of the applicant, they shall not be a determinative factor.
