Scholarships

The Karlo and Barbara Duvnjak Family Bursary was established to provide financial assistance to University of St. Michael's College Students enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given to students of Croatian or German background. If there is not eligible student of Croatian or German background, students from Nothern Ontario will be considered. If there is no eligible students from Northern Ontario, students with financial need will be considered. Applicants must be residents of Ontario and demonstrate financial need.

Awarded to a student in a Specialist or Major program in the Department of Cell and System Biology who has completed a course in animal physiology (BIO 270H and BIO271H). Financial need and academic merit in courses in second and third year will be considered.

To be awarded to one or more students completing first year at UTSC, on the basis of financial need and excellent academic achievement

Manjit Hansra received the degree of BScPhm from the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy in 2003. He volunteered in the community during his time as a student at the Faculty and while working abroad as a community pharmacist. He also instilled the concept of SEVA by coordinating team building volunteer activities with his management team. He has established this award to promote the concept of SEVA, or ‘selfless service’: a giving back to the community and serving those who need a helping hand, which allows us to uplift society as a whole and to see the entire human race as one.

Awarded to an outstanding undergraduate student enrolled in a program in the Centre for Jewish Studies on the basis of academic merit.

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to a Full time, undergraduate student at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy on the basis of financial need.

Awarded to UTM students with a visible or invisible disability on the basis of financial need. Students must be in good academic standing and must have completed at least four courses at Erindale College. Recipients will be chosen in consultation with AccessAbility at Erindale College.
