Criteria

Eligible students must: 1. Have no previous post-secondary education 2. Be Current studentsly attending a high school (consideration will be given to students who graduated up to I year prior to applying for admission to U of T). 3. Plan to attend U of T on a study permit. 4. Have a minimum average of 85% or equivalent with preference given to students who demonstrate high academic achievement. 5. Provide evidence of leadership, community involvement, dedication to helping others, creativity and enthusiasm. 6. Financial need may be taken into account in selection of candidates

John and Myrna Daniels Foundation Opportunity Award
Awarded to students in any of the bachelor's or master's programs at the Daniels Faculty based on financial need and academic merit. Awards are available starting in the 2020-21 academic year. Undergraduate students will be considered for this award based on UT Grant submitted through ACORN. Graduate students will be considered for this award based on their submitted Daniels Faculty Graduate Grant.
