University of Toronto Scholar

The University of Toronto Scholars Program provides recognition to the University?s outstanding students, at admission and on an on-going basis. There are approximately 1,000 admission awards which have a value of $7,500. In some cases a U of T Scholars award is tenable in conjunction with other admission awards that students may receive from their college/faculty.

Criteria

Outstanding domestic and International students secondary school students are considered automatically for these awards on the basis of their average at the time of admission (applicants who have previously attended a post-secondary institution are not eligible for U of T Scholars consideration). Payment of the award is conditional on Full time registration at the awarding Faculty in the fall of the year the award is granted

Awarded to a student who has completed First Year with overall A standing who is studying Religion.
John and Myrna Daniels Foundation Opportunity Award
Awarded to students in any of the bachelor's or master's programs at the Daniels Faculty based on financial need and academic merit. Awards are available starting in the 2020-21 academic year. Undergraduate students will be considered for this award based on UT Grant submitted through ACORN. Graduate students will be considered for this award based on their submitted Daniels Faculty Graduate Grant.
F Ray Irwin Scholarship III
Awarded to Victoria College students achieving excellence during the course of their studies in Third Year.
Hodgins Prize III
Awarded to a Victoria College student who has completed Third Year with overall A standing who is enrolled in a Specialist or Major program in English.
