This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to perform general medical laboratory procedures, general diagnostic radiographic procedures, and electrocardiograms. These programs include courses in anatomy and physiology, radiographic anatomy, radiation science and apparatus, image exposure and processing, radiographic technique, patient care in radiography, radiobiology and protection, general laboratory practice, specimen collection and handling, hematology, hemostasis, hematopathology, clinical chemistry, urinalysis, infection control and safety, electrocardiography, medical terminology, medical computer applications, quality management and professional practices.
