This instructional program class comprises any residency training program that prepares physicians in the prevention, diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, critical care, and rehabilitation of disorders of the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems, using operative and non-operative means; the evaluation and treatment of pathological processes that modify the function or activity of the nervous system; and the management of pain.
