This instructional program class comprises any residency training program that prepares physicians to specialize in disorders of the internal (endocrine) glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands, and to deal with disorders such as diabetes, metabolic and nutritional disorders, obesity, pituitary diseases, and menstrual and sexual problems. Requires prior completion of a program in internal medicine.
