This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the design of educational services for children or adults who exhibit slow social, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional growth patterns that affect learning, and that prepares individuals to teach such students. These programs include courses in identification of developmental delay patterns, developing individual education plans, teaching and supervising developmentally delayed students, counselling, and applicable laws and policies.
